A happy hello from all of us at “Team Willows”. It’s downhill till the end of 2021 and for many of you, with this year’s peaks and troughs, that may feel like a blessing. Remember, we’re in this together and we remain focused, and excited to keep walking a journey of good health and happiness with you.
We are excited about the opening of so many new stores at the Willowbridge Centre, as well as Yuppie Chef’s relocation close to Woolworths. Four Walls has recently opened opposite Skin Renewal, and we have the best view of their beautiful interiors and solid wood furniture. Mr Price Home will be the next store to be added to the centre. And - a little tip from us - if you need a gorgeous gift, we recommend a visit to Hometown. We do love our design-rich neighbourhood!

During these challenging times, it’s essential for all of us, including our staff members, to take care of ourselves. Leading a healthy lifestyle and connecting with nature is the best medicine for the soul.
With our fast-paced lives, it’s become imperative to live (and maintain) healthier existences. There are many ways to stay resilient during these stressful times that we are facing. Connecting with nature, including exercise as part of your daily routine (simply going for a walk), or just going outside to soak up some sunlight are ways to feel more in tune with what your body needs.
Therapist Mari Roux loves nature and the outdoors. She loves hiking, going for walks and jogs regularly. She believes this form of meditation relaxes the mind and energises the spirit.
Therapist Candice Louis recently visited her hometown Mtunzini, KZN. All of us were in awe of the beautiful countryside she grew up in. Candice just loves walks along the riverbanks of the Mlalazi River, and boat rides with her Dad.

Assistant Manager, Penelope Wagener, treasures time spent with her family. Seen here with her two adorable nieces; they help out around the house and enjoy gardening together. Being at home with her family is her “happy,” bringing out the best version of herself, she says.
Therapist Lorraine Winshaw believes in quality time with her family. She recently went on a well-deserved break with her Mom to the Kruger National Wildlife Park. There she had the privilege of experiencing amazing views and breathtaking sunsets with her mother by her side.
For therapist Zaan Pienaar, it is about life’s little moments, captured and cherished forever. Left is Zaan celebrating her sister Wikje’s wedding – she was the maid of honour – and was so proud to be part of such a beautiful and joyous occasion.

Call 2 Care Ladles of Love, and My Desert Rose have joined forces to host The Street Store Collaboration. A donation-driven "shop" will be set up for one day for homeless individuals to come and find clothing and blankets of their choice in a dignified way in the heart of Cape Town.
We're looking for all donations, big or small, to help us fill the store. Anything from blankets to hoodies, shoes, and jeans, to baby clothes and everything in between.
Donations can be dropped into Donation Boxes situated outside Woolworths and PNP Clothing Willowbridge and Centre Management located on P1 below Woolworths. Let's warm up the Mother City this winter and celebrate our wonderful people this Heritage Day.
There's a new injectable available to help with anti-ageing, and it’s making big waves in the industry. It also means big results. Willowbridge centre has also started implementing waste segregation and sent all tenants guidelines on how this process works. It is really simple and easy to follow. Recycling bins can now be located all over Willowbridge for the community and tenants to join in on this wonderful initiative.

In May 2021, Skin Renewal Willowbridge became a fully vaccinated team! All of us had our turn with our vaccinations, and it was an important experience in the fight against this daunting virus.
Charleen Liebenberg celebrated her birthday with the branch on 26th July. She was so happily surprised by all the yummy treats prepared by Zaan.
Charleen treated us to the most beautiful-looking and delicious cupcakes. Happiest of years ahead Charleen!
Marzet Cronje celebrated her birthday on the 7th of July. She was spoilt with beautiful gifts and a delicious sushi dinner in front of the fireplace at home surrounded by her loved ones.
A special family member celebrated her first birthday on the 17th of June (seven sweet years in human years).
Frankie brings the Pienaar family so much joy and is loved and adored by everyone she meets. Happy Birthday, Frankie!
Sadly, a few familiar faces will be leaving “Team Willows”, and two new skin gurus will be joining us.
Charlé Grobler, currently with the Cape Quarter branch, will be returning home to Willowbridge. And, Jené, our Assistant Manager currently with Willowbridge, is rejoining the Stellenbosch branch.
Charleen, our Manager, will be leaving to manage the Constantia Branch, and Marzet Cronje, Manager of the Constantia Branch will now be managing our team. Here we grow again!
Charleen started with the Willowbridge branch as a therapist and soon climbed the career ladder, becoming Branch Manager soon after.
Her friendly and sparkling personality will surely be missed, but her memory of being a Willowbridgette, will be forever cherished. The Constantia team is fortunate to have her, and we wish her nothing but the best in her new role.
Jené has been with Skin Renewal since 2018. SO many branches and patients have loved her friendly smile and caring nature.
Now it’s Stellenbosch’s turn to get her magic touch and vibrant energy. We will miss her and wish her a wonderful journey with her new team.
Charlé started with the Willowbridge branch. She did therapy for a short period before realising her actual calling was being upfront at the desk. In 2019 she joined the management team at the Cape Quarter Branch and now returns to her Willowbridge family, who all missed her dearly.
Charlé enjoys family time and being with her two fur kiddies. She has a very exciting time ahead as she recently got engaged and will start with wedding planning soon. We are so happy to have you back, Charlé!
