Zeenat recently celebrated her baby’s gender reveal, and come July; her little guy will be here. Such exciting news for her – and us – and all our blessings for the rest of her pregnancy.
From getaways, to family reunions, our team are filing their happy cups, and we couldn’t be more joyful. And also incredibly proud! As if working at busy clinics and caring for clients isn’t enough, our doctors hit their goals with, you know, a simple Two Ocean half marathon.
Dr Ross Connor and Dr Rulene Maré recently joined Cape Town’s most prestigious race, and both completed the Two Oceans half (21.1km). One of the most spectacular routes around the Cape Peninsula (and often voted as the most breathtaking course in the world). Bragging rights go to both doctors who achieved incredible targets for themselves. Dr Ross managed a mighty 1hr47 minutes while Dr Rulene, on his heels clocking in at an impressive 2hr22min, inspire and amaze us. Go team!
Like many families, separation has been part of the pandemic. However, it was happy days this past Easter for Margot as she and William returned to their home country and saw family and friends in beautiful Namibia. A long overdue visit, and over two years without seeing their loved ones, this special time was absolute magic for the couple.
Magic was also in the air for Candice and her clan. Not only did her parents visit the Cape, but she returned back home to KZN for the Easter weekend and met the newest, and dare we say cutest member of her family, baby Harper.
Marzet and her family kept it local in a celebration of her youngest brother’s visit from the States.
A beach break in ever-gorgeous Hermanus meant precious family time and a chance to reconnect.

Komani produces high quality reusable, washable sanitary pads, which are both sustainable and environmentally friendly. We aim to donate 1000 packs of reusable sanitary packs to each charity we support. For every 100 packs we receive, we will spend time with the beneficiaries educating them on personal hygiene and how to use and maintain their sanitary pack. The cost of a pack is just R150, and the pads can last up to three years, requiring only 6 litres of water to wash the pads for the duration of a menstrual cycle.
