They say time flies when you’re having fun, and the past twelve months have flown by in the most wonderful blur of happy new customers, best-in-the-business teamwork, industry-first treatments and that glow that money can buy, courtesy of our wide range of our in-branch products.
So, to mark our first proper excuse to fill the branch with balloons and have cake for breakfast, we decided that instead of having just a birthday day, we’d have a birthday week… And that’s precisely what we did!
It really does feel like just yesterday that we were welcoming you to our new branch for the first time and we are so grateful – and proud – to have our own long list of ‘regulars’ like the other 17 Skin Renewal branches nationwide.

There’s a new face in-branch and it belongs to the bright, beautiful, and brilliantly blonde, Dr Janene Veenendaal, who joined our team a little earlier this year.
Born and raised in Gauteng, Dr Janene completed her medical degree at the University of Pretoria before doing her internship at Steve Biko Academic Hospital. Passionate about skincare, she was, in fact, a Skin Renewal patient before joining our team, as the holistic approach taken by Skin Renewal doctors towards skin and aesthetics resonated with her.
Dr Janene enjoyed extensive in house training with Medical Director and Skin Renewal Founder Dr Maureen Allem for a few months before joining the branch. We pride ourselves on implementing cutting edge techniques and Dr Janene has loved the opportunity to learn the intricacies of aesthetics from Dr Maureen and the wider medical team.
A multi-faceted woman, when not at a Skin Renewal clinic (treating or being treated), she enjoys gardening, reading, and watching motorsport. Always up for a challenge, Dr Janene loves to travel and explore new destinations.
