Ready for a catch-up on what’s been happening at Skin Renewal Umhlanga? Grab yourself a cup of tea and let’s get chatty!

For starters, our darling medical therapist Roxy is now a Mrs. Buchanan, having recently tied the knot with her husband Mitchell.

We also celebrated a lot of birthdays! Uncle Rod (our driver), Joyce (our housekeeper), Dr Merle Williams, and assistant manager Sammy all blew out their candles in February. Then, in March, medical therapist Catherine got to enjoy another spin around the sun.

Here's a lovely video all about Skin Renewal Umhlanga!

Giving back

We’ve been helping an NPO called The Seed Fund to improve the living conditions of residents in Malacca. This has included starting a soup kitchen and, more recently, starting a weekly sandwich delivery service to The Seed Fund kiddies. This happens every Wednesday when we’ll do the prep and Uncle Rod drops the sarmies off at Malacca Road, Durban North, to the kiddies homework club. It’s the most fulfilling initiative ever – especially when you see the look of appreciation on the children’s faces.

Celebrity sparkle

We’re very proud to say we’re in the process of treating East Coast Radio’s Stacey Norman. Dr Merle and medical therapist Catherine have teamed up to help Stacey reach her skincare goals and become the very best version of herself.

We’re also treating inspirational model, influencer, and image consultant Zanele Kamwendo. Medical therapist Roxy is giving her a combination of skin needling and Laser Genesis treatments to bump up her natural collagen supply, blitz fine lines, and even out her skin tone. Zanele’s commitment to our in-office treatments and a good homecare routine is pretty evident. Just pop on over to her Instagram page to see how radiant her skin is looking!

Product of the week

Nurse Esme’s got a bit of a rep for being amazing when it comes to recommending supplements so when she picks Lamelle Ovelle D3 as her product of the week you know it’s a goodie. Formulated with superantioxidant Pycnogenol, this one-a-day capsule promises brighter skin that’s 80% more resistant to UVA rays. Better yet, it fights off free radicals, inhibits skin-damaging enzymes, improves the appearance of pigmentation, and boosts your skin’s own hyaluronic acid content. Also, thanks to the addition of vitamin D, it can promote strong bones and a healthy immune and nervous system – even if you’re avoiding sun exposure!
