We are delighted to welcome Samantha Smith as assistant manager, who has already become a valuable part of the team. Sam’s passion, knowledge and experience within the industry will enormously benefit our patients and colleagues without a doubt.
Even though this year wasn’t necessarily synonymous with joyous occasions, we recently celebrated the birthday of medical therapist, Roxy. It is incredible how beautiful flowers, delicious cake and birthday wishes have the ability to lift one’s spirit.
Founder and medical director of Skin Renewal, Dr Maureen Allem, recently became grandmother to her daughter, Catherine’s precious baby girl, Amelia. This time gave Dr Maureen the opportunity to reflect on the special relationship she has with her own mom, Rema, who provided a tertiary education to all nine of her children, even after becoming a widow at the young age of 47. It is clear where Dr Maureen’s strength and determination stems from, and we would like to congratulate Catherine and Dr Maureen on this momentous occasion in their lives.
It is our pleasure to be working with Pieter Swart, producer of the TV show, Model. Pieter is an advocate for male skincare, believing that it is as important for men to take care of their skin as it is for women, and that the benefits are as impactful. Pieter regularly visits the branch for his treatments that include a number of Skin Renewal’s advanced technologies, and the results have been phenomenal.
