We challenge you to be the brightest, most radiant and positive person in the room today! That’s something we all strive for at the Fourways branch and most days we think we pull it off. But that’s because we have a secret weapon in the form of killer good coffee – more on that later. To start, we have a HUGE whack of staff news so let’s get cracking!

First up, a big congrats to Mr & Mrs Venter. Therapist Lourita finally got to tie the knot (at Zoete Liefde in Brits) with Hannes after having to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic.
Another of our beautiful brides in the spotlight is therapist Cece! We were privileged to be part of her dress fitting and much of the wedding build-up and thrilled to celebrate with her on her big day.
We wish each couple a lifetime of love and happiness.
Speaking of weddings and love – Dr Nadira recently celebrated her 10 year wedding anniversary with her family at the Cradle Boutique Hotel. Here’s to many more!

Since the inception of the Covid pandemic Skin Renewal has implemented stringent Covid protocols in every branch. Thank you to each one of you for respecting the protocols and ensuring that we each do our part to stay safe.
Speaking of which most of the Skin Renewal Doctors and Nurses have been vaccinated and many members of our team are now in line to be vaccinated too.

Natasha has returned to our Fourways family to assist our desk team, having transferred from our Morningside branch. When she’s not with us, she likes to whip up magic meals at home with her husband and two children.
Clearly the Fourways team is a bit like The Hotel California because nobody ever really leaves. Cue the return of Assistant Manager Jackie! Having managed both the Morningside and Illovo branches, she’s finally made her way back to Fourways. She also referred us to one of your favourites – medical therapist Helen!
Another new face in our little family is Assistant Manager Jean-Marie. A busy wife and mom to a beautiful 6-month-old baby girl, Jean-Marie loves to cook for her family and shop online.
Still, there is a good-bye in amongst all the hellos. We’re really going to miss Louise who’s moved to our West Rand branch as manager and wish her all the best in her new role.
Last, but not least, a big congrats to our housekeeper Maggie who recently became a Gogo for the second time after her daughter was blessed with the birth of beautiful baby Oabile. Oabile’s mother is non-other than the much loved Tsholo from our sister branch, Morningside. Maggie’s news doesn’t stop there. She also recently received her 10 Year Service Award. Here’s to many more!
We’ve been supporting The Kliptown Gogos for a while now and absolutely love how these industrious women continue to explore creative ways to create ongoing revenue. While they’ve mastered the art of making colourful headscarves and fluffy slippers, they’re now creating beautiful hand-crafted candles. If you’ve been looking for a gift that gives back, consider their pretty tea lights and larger candles in glass jars, which will be available in a variety of colours soon. Recently, we were left smiling due to an amazing donation – made possible by you. As a result of your generosity, we were able to support the Kliptown Youth Program via our Driver, Nqaza.
The donation included clothes, shoes, household items, bedding, baby goods and more. These donations get sold to the Kliptown residents via the Unemployed Youth, to in turn, generate funds for the community. If you’d like to support them, please remember to bring ANY unwanted goods to your appointment so we can make another great donation sometime soon. A big THANK YOU to all those who’ve already donated items. Collectively, the smallest things can make a big difference!
PULSE EMS (Electro Muscular Stimulation) training has found a new home at Pineslopes, right opposite our branch. Branch Manager Inge really enjoyed her first intro session and had the following to say:
"This is something I’ve been wanting to try for the longest time! It was genuinely such a wonderful experience. Reinhardt, who is the owner of the franchise, greeted me by name, took me through every step, explained what I would feel and took it really easy on me. I was quite nervous about how intense the pulses would be, and how I would feel afterwards. But I needn’t have worried. Just 20 minutes of exercise is right up my alley and, being wireless, I got a great range of motion. Also, the EMS wasn’t painful in the least and normal stiffness was felt post-training.
Other PULSE plusses? I was given clothes to exercise in as well as a water bottle and quick-dry sweat towel to keep. Their prices are competitive, they’re very professional and COVID compliant.
