We signed off last year with a rather glam function at the equally fabulous Pencil Club at Umhlanga Arch, all styled-up in black and gold.
Our Skin Renewal leaders, Victor and Dr Maureen joined us for this very special evening and it was a brilliant way to show our thanks and appreciation for the duo who keep us inspired and motivated.

Dr Merle and her handsome partner Mikael met in 2013 in Johannesburg. For them, 2023 is all about spending more time with family and engaging in new hobbies.

Like all families, the Skin Renewal one is certainly a dynamic one. We are very excited that Dr Sirlesh Moodley, who is recognised for his wealth of knowledge in the medical aesthetic industry, will be joining Skin Renewal. With over five years of medical aesthetics already under his belt, Dr Sirlesh understands that being a medical aesthetic doctor focuses on more than just the skin and it’s concerns. His approach is always to use an evidence-based background to holistically provide patients with the best treatments and services tailored to their individual needs.
A true calling, Dr Sirlesh appreciates the very personal experience that is the Skin Renewal relationship. He will be practicing from our branch as well as our sister branches, Umhlanga and Ballito.
Dr Cait will be moving to Gauteng and bringing her expertise to many of our sister branches up there (Fourways, West Rand, Waterfall, Irene and Bedfordview). We wish Dr Cait all the very best in her new home town.
Skin Renewal’s vision is to facilitate infinite transformation in the lives of those we touch. This vision is held by our highly skilled doctors and medically trained therapists when working with a patient on their skincare journey. However, it’s more than that; it’s the vision held by every Skin Renewal employee when working with the wider community too.
This year’s CSI project holds the same ethos. We proudly partnered with SPCA Durban, and it’s been a privilege to give back to a community making such a difference in the lives of those who can’t help themselves.
Recently the KZN branch leaders went on a little visit to the SPCA to hand over some food and treats to our furry friends. What a beautiful experience. While very hard to leave those adorable kittens, our commitment is only stronger.
