As we wrap up Women’s Month, we do it with full hearts, happy memories, and camera rolls packed with pops of pink and popcorn.
Like the rest of the country, we at the Constantia Branch – both the girls and the guys – celebrated August by celebrating the women we’re blessed to work with and work for. And, as winter turns into spring, we step into the new season with a deep appreciation for the fact that what we do is more than just skin deep.
Because, empowering women isn’t just something we preach on 9 August, it’s something we practice… every day.
We just had to capture how the sun is starting to twinkle through the leaves again as we enjoy the most beautiful mornings and exquisitely longer days in the magnificent setting of our ‘home’ – the High Constantia Shopping Center.
We love how all of our real-life Barbies – staff and trendsetters – made the effort to get dressed up and go to the movies as they attended several of the premieres and screenings of the big screen event of the year, the Barbie movie, in Cape Town.

Lights, camera, strike a pose (and a selfie)! Anika and Jene, Dr Dom and Kate clearly got the memo in the wardrobe department, donning pops of pink and looking fiercely feminine while doing it.
Few things offer as much tonic for the soul as a sneaky sun-drenched mid-winter getaway, which is why we’re loving living vicariously through Dr Toni and Dr Michele’s vacay pics…
It feels like as soon as Dr Toni heard the words “Schools out!” she packed her cozzie and got her lovely family on a plane bound for the beaches of Mauritius. Because, well, she did, enjoying a special time away with her beautiful family – and a couple of well-deserved cocktails in the process!
Testament to his “Carpe diem!” approach to life, Dr Michele popped on a plane and headed to Portugal with a friend. It may have been a last-minute trip but it created the kind of memories that last a lifetime. Looking at these cobbled streets and this delish cuisine, we’re not surprised that he can’t stop raving about how wonderful Portugal is.
