There’s no denying it, 2020 was one challenging year, but as we enter this new one, we’re overwhelmed with a feeling of gratitude. Gratitude for our health, our loyal patients, our branch “family” and all the good things that are sure to come. In this newsletter, we’re looking back at last year’s highlights. We are incredibly proud of how our hard work as a team paid off – so much so we were named Skin Renewal’s Top Branch in Gauteng!
Naturally, we couldn’t have done it without our amazing medical team including Dr. Lestonn, Dr. Trent, Dr. Zander, Dr. Megan, and Nurse Angela.
Some managed to nab their very own awards – like Dr Lestonn Lawn who took home Doctor of the Year for the second year in a row as well as Dr Pierce van Tonder who also continued his winning streak, being named Health Coach of the Year yet again.

While it’s fabulous to receive, we know how awesome it feels to give – and so do our patients! Last year in October, a group of kind-hearted Skin Renewal Gauteng members spent a morning handing out food parcels that fed over 2 500 people in Kliptown. These were packed during our first national virtual CSI day.

Another way we’re giving Kliptown a hand? One of our therapists, Susan Dube, is providing massages with all the proceeds going towards helping the community get a container that’ll become their very first library. Susan’s magic hands will also contribute towards providing the library’s books, stationary, furniture and more.

Yes, our sustainability journey is still going strong. If you didn’t know, all of our branches use LED lights; we unplug every appliance when it’s not in use and encourage our patients to leave with a snip of spekboom to propagate at home.
Other ways we’re keeping it clean and green?
- We’ve set up a Bokashi compost system for edible waste, using this nutrient-rich soil to nurture the pot plants and garden verges at their respective branches.
- All of our communications are now paperless
- Every compress used within our clinics is handmade by the Kliptown Gogos.
- All carry bags distributed in the RID program are now biodegradable paper. We also offer a beautiful branded Skin Renewal tote bag made from recycled cotton for purchase
- We recycle old plastic bottles into bird feeders and use them in the branch garden
We sold a LOT of skincare products last year.

Advanced PLUS Prep & Maintenance Solution

Elite PLUS Prep & Maintenance Solution

Elite Prep & Maintenance Solution
This treatment is just like the aforementioned PLUS version but the hydra-dermabrasion session is replaced with microdermabrasion and transdermal mesotherapy.
Standard Plus Skin Rejuvenation
This skin needling treatment is ideal for encouraging the creation of new collagen to improve the skin’s tone and texture while minimizing the look of fine lines. It also includes the application of a TA serum that contains pigmentation-diminishing tranexamic acid.
